Shangri-La
**BOIL WATER NOTICE LIFTED, CONSERVATION MEASURES IN EFFECT** Lab results came back absent for bacteria and the boil water notice was lifted Friday, July 10 at 3:30 pm. We have reduced capacity in our upper pressure zones, however, with only one set of pumps working. No outdoor irrigation is allowed, hand watering only, until further notice. This applies to customers living on Booth Kelly Road, Grandview Drive, Tonga Lane, Keola Lane and Keola Court, those homes served by the booster pump station. We will send notifications when the restrictions are lifted and share updates when we know more about the repair schedule..
Shangri-La Water District serves a rural neighborhood along Deerhorn Road with 2 wells, 1 storage tank, and an upper level booster pump station.
Rainbow Water District assists Shangri-La with planning and system repairs and we serve as the licensed operator to oversee the water system. In July 2025 Rainbow also began providing bookkeeping services and processing water bills after Wendy retired, based on rates adopted by the Shangri-La Board.
