Billing and Payments


Bills are mailed on the 25th of every month, and the due date is typically the 5th, 6th or 7th of the following month.  We only have one billing cycle at this time and you are not able to adjust your billing or due date.  If this is a problem for you, plesae contact our office at 541-746-1676. 


With the Customer Portal, you have several options for paying your bill online.  You can make an ACH payment, or pay with a Visa, Mastercard or Discover credit or debit card.  You do not have to pay any transaction fees for making a card or ACH payment.  You can make a one time payment or enroll in auto pay.  See the Pay Now tab at the left of this page for a link to the Customer Portal.

Mail a check (Do not mail cash) with your payment stub to:  Rainbow Water District, PO Box 8, Springfield, OR 97477. 

Drop by our office at 1550 N 42nd Street, Springfield, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and pay with check, cash or card. You can also use the 24-hour drop box on the front of the office.  (Do not place cash in the drop box).

Many customers like to pay ahead for summer watering or while they will be out of town. Any payment you make that exceeds the amount owing on your bill will be shown as a credit (a negative number) on your next bill.
